Who we are

Acorn started out as a small family-run business which was formed in 1990. At first, Acorn only specialised in Pest Control. However, due to the Chairman’s drive and expertise, Acorn expanded its service offering cleaning and clearances, part of their daily routine. In October 2021 Acorn expanded into the water hygiene sector and has qualified operatives with over 25 years of experience in the industry.

Acorn has become a successful environmental service company; offering a great range of services to cover all areas, both internal and external for all types of industries, commercial, public and private clients within the North West and beyond, Acorn has more than 200 clients and employs 40 specialist staff members in their field.

Acorn is a family-orientated environmental service company who are happy to assist with any problem. Its target to make a difference to the environment drives its vision to REACT, COMMUNICATE and DELIVER the best service possible to its growing client portfolio.

Clients on cover with us will benefit from our emergency service which is usually built into the contract. If in the unlikely event that a pest control emergency occurs, we are a phone call away and will usually visit same or next day to diffuse the problem.

What can you expect?

The best pest controllers and products in the industry.
Friendly logistics/ management team in the office. You will be given an account manager who you will have free communication channels with at all times via email or phone. Everyone in the office will have access to your account so can help you in an emergency.
Regular visits in your pest control contract, usually by the same technician- Acorn Environment Services aim to always send the same technician, so effectively they are assigned to you, this doesn’t always happen depending on annual leave, sickness and emergency calls, however we do our utmost to get the same technician to you at least, the majority of the time.
By visiting regularly we are able to control and prevent pests, this means all being well you should never have a problem with a pest you are covered for. And if you do, we are there to get on top of it straight away.
Competitive pricing. We are able to provide a better level of service at competitive prices.
Regular courtesy calls. You can expect a call every 1-2 months just to check everything is running smoothly. We aim to retain all our contract clients and find this is a great way of keeping a positive relationship with you.
